Mabon Magick 2023 Introduction
Mabon, revered as one of the eight sabbats in the Wheel of the Year, holds a special place in the hearts of witches. Falling on the autumnal equinox, typically around September 21st-23rd, Mabon marks a moment of balance between light and darkness, as day and night share equal time. This magical celebration draws its roots from ancient harvest festivals and is named after the Welsh god, Mabon, symbolizing a time of gratitude, introspection, and preparation for the approaching winter months. We witches embrace Mabon as an opportunity to express gratitude for the bounties of the earth, perform rituals to honor the changing seasons, and seek harmony within ourselves and the natural world. As the leaves begin to fall and the air carries a hint of magic, Mabon stands as a time of reflection and renewal for us to align ourselves with the rhythmic energies of the universe.
This three-day course is designed to help witches connect deeply with the energies of Mabon and engage in meaningful practices that honor the season. Over the next three days leading up to Mabon, unlock rituals and spells, enjoy delicious recipes and easy herbal preparations along with daily tarot spreads.
Each day you will receive an email with the activities for that day. Iām releasing these in the week before Mabon to allow you time to look over the suggested activities and plan ahead. Do as much or as little each day as feels comfortable or spread it out over the course of the week. However, the magic is most potent when performed each day as written. You will feel the power of the Mabon season building within you.
